Maison

There are moments when a life edits itself.

A cut.
A shift in framing.
A new light.

I grew up between geographies — the south of France, Canada, the Caribbean.
Movement was never rupture. It was language.
A way of learning rhythm, contrast, atmosphere.

By thirty, I had built, adapted, performed competence.
Ambitious. Image-aware. Attentive to detail.
Deeply sensitive to meaning.

At forty-one, I chose to return to film school.
Not because something had collapsed —
but because something precise and interior was asking for authorship.

The choice was deliberate.
Demanding.
Solitary.

Cinema sharpened my perception.
But it also revealed a gap.

There was space for spectacle.
For productivity.
For aesthetic performance.

Very little space for the inner life.

What I needed was not motivation.
It was a frame.

A place where ambition and sensitivity were not opposites.
Where beauty could hold psychological depth.
Where softness was not decorative — but structural.

I could not find that cinema.

So I began to create it.

That became La Séance.

A FILM STUDIO FOR THE INNER LIFE

La Séance creates short cinematic meditations.

Each film explores an emotional architecture —
attention, self-esteem, resilience, softness —
through image, voice, silence, and atmosphere.

We work between disciplines:
cinema, philosophy, fashion, psychology, pop culture, food, visual art.

Emerging tools — including AI — are used as instruments, not shortcuts.
Not to replace craft, but to expand visual language.
To compose films as living collages where intuition and technology meet.

This is not content.
It is cinematic reflection.

AN EXPANDED UNIVERSE

Every film extends beyond the screen.

Each one opens into a written Letter — a continuation of the reflection,
and an artistic constellation of influences that shaped it.

Books. Paintings. Music. Couture. Cultural fragments.

La Séance is built as a body of work.
Film by film.
Thought by thought.

RITUAL OBJECTS

Alongside the films, we create tangible pieces —
bracelets, daily cards, journals.

Not merchandise.
Extensions.

Objects that echo the cinematic themes,
designed to live quietly within full lives.

They are companions to perception.
Not instructions for self-improvement.

A COLLECTIVE EXPERIENCE

La Séance was conceived as a shared space.

Digital films.
Intimate Letters.
Future screenings in cinemas.

A studio practice that moves between online and physical rooms.

Always with the same intention:
to create spaces where we can gather without performance,
experience emotion without spectacle,
and engage ambition without hardness.

La Séance is a cinematic house.
An evolving studio.
A practice of looking inward — with rigor and elegance.

Welcome inside.
